Apple on Monday seeded the sixth betas of iOS 12.2, tvOS 12.2, watchOS 5.2 and macOS 10.14.4 to developers. Registered devs can install the updates via each platform’s respective OTA mechanism, or through the Developer Center. Today’s releases come one week after beta 5, and one week before Apple’s ‘It’s show time’ media event, suggesting we are nearing the public launch.

What’s new?

iOS 12.2 is by far the biggest update of the bunch, bringing about a number new features and improvements. Among them are the expansion of Apple News to Canada, HomeKit TV support, four new Animoji characters and notable UI tweak stop Wallet and other stock applications. Check out our hands-on video of some of the changes:

Since we’re in the sixth beta cycle, we don’t anticipate any major changes in today’s releases. It’s mostly bug fixes and other shoring up to prepare for the public release. That being said, if you find any significant changes that we haven’t mentioned yet, be sure to tell us about it down in the comment section below!
