Give your Status Bar’s cellular strength indicator a rainbow makeover with PrideBars

The cellular signal strength indicator is perhaps one of the most pertinent displays in your iOS device’s Status Bar, so why not go the extra mile to help it stand out from the crowd?

If you’re onboard with the idea, then you just might take a liking to a new free jailbreak tweak called PrideBars by iOS developer Blake Boxberger. Once installed, this tweak gives your cellular signal strength indicator a multi-colored makeover in the form of a rainbow.

As depicted by the screenshot example above, PrideBars colorizes the cellular signal strength indicator with the following colors from left to right when you have full signal strength: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. As you might come to expect, some of those colored bars disappear as the signal strength deteriorates.

PrideBars doesn’t have any options to configure, so what you see is ultimately what you get. To disable the tweak, you’d need to uninstall it from your device.

Note: At the time of this writing, the developer is aware of an issue where the bar width may be too big, resulting in layout issues. This will be fixed in an upcoming update.

If you’re interested in trying PrideBars, then you can download it for free from the Dynastic Repo repository. The tweak supports all jailbroken iPhones and cellular-supported iPads.
