Our Wallpapers of the Week collection aims to bring you the best wallpapers from around the web. With the intent to highlight original artists where possible, today’s pack contains the hard work of Jason Zigrino. The following pack contains original 3D renders of famous sci-fi blasters.
Blaster wallpapers
The following collection is an impressive gallery of original artwork. According to Zigrino he created the 3D models using several programs. The hard surface modeling was completed with Autodesk Fusion 360. The stage lighting, texturing and rendering was completed in Cinema 4D with Redshift 3D.
Zigrino has been learning 3D modeling for the past couple years and regularly shares his work via Twitter and Instagram. Definitely, make sure to follow him for additional downloads. You’re seriously missing out if you don’t track his work.
Below, you will find: Officer K’s blaster from Blade Runner 2049; Major’s Thermoptic Pistol from Ghost in the Shell; Rey’s blaster from Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens; Star Lord’s element blasters from Guardians of the Galaxy.
My thanks to Zigrino for creating these wallpapers specifically for the iDB wallpaper section! We connected via my Twitter account, @jim_gresham. This is where I curate our wallpaper collection, tweet mid-week downloads, and interact with fans of the gallery. Please follow along and send your favorite wallpapers my way!
