Apple on Tuesday seeded the second public betas of iOS 12.2, tvOS 12.2 and macOS 10.14.4. Users registered with Apple’s public beta testing program can install the updates via each platform’s respective OTA mechanism.

As we noted in covering yesterday’s developer release, iOS 12.2 beta 2 includes new boar, shark, giraffe and owl Animoji characters. It also brings about new Safari security features, such as the ability to disable motion and orientation tracking by advertisers. Here’s our hands-on video showing more of the changes in iOS 12.2:

Contrastingly, we haven’t uncovered many changes/new features in tvOS 12.2 yet. Apple [obviously] doesn’t devote nearly the amount of resources to tvOS as it does iOS, and it doesn’t provide release notes for the software.
macOS 10.14.4
Not much has been spotted thus far in the second beta of macOS 10.14.4 either. But from the first beta we learned that the software update will add Apple News support in Canada, Touch ID-enabled AutoFill and automatic Dark Mode in Safari, and more.
We are expecting the above updates, as well as watchOS 5.2, to stay in beta for several weeks, and perhaps to be ready to go public sometime in early March.
