Fuzion for iPhone boosts your portraiture photography with double exposure effects

With Fuzion, anyone can create double exposure effects effortlessly.

This upcoming app by 19-year-old musician and iOS developer Leonard Pospichal from Austria (the maker of the fun HoloCam app), does its magic by blending together multiple depth-of-filed Portrait shots and selfies automatically, using the dual cameras on newer iPhones.

In short, this iOS photo editor takes advantage of the depth-sensing TrueDepth and dual cameras found on the latest Apple smartphones (iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X and newer are supported) to automatically detect a person’s silhouette and cut them out of the background.

Check it out in action in the video embedded below.

To get started, just capture a Portrait image.

The app will automatically detect a silhouette on it, allowing you to select from a variety of backgrounds by top photographers to blend with the silhouette.

Optionally, spice up your Portrait images by adding effects such as dust overlays, light leaks and color filters, making your double exposures stand out even more.

Here are a few examples of the effects that can be achieved with Fuzion.
