iOS 12.1.3, watchOS 5.1.3 and tvOS 12.1.2 beta 3 have been released for testing

More than three weeks after releasing the second beta of iOS 12.1.3, Apple on Monday seeded its registered developers and members of the Apple Developer Program third betas of the upcoming iOS 12.1.3, watchOS 5.1.3 and tvOS 12.1.2 software updates.

iOS 12.1.3 beta 3 (build 16D5037a) can be installed through Settings → General → Software Update on an iOS device. watchOS 5.1.3 beta 3 (build 16S5535a) can be found in My Watch → General → Software Update within the companion Watch app on your paired iPhone.

tvOS 12.1.2 beta 3 (build 16K5534a) is available through Settings → System → Software Updates → Update Software on the third and fourth-generation Apple TV models.

TUTORIAL: How to install tvOS public beta on your Apple TV

Before you can actually install Apple’s beta OS software, your device must have a special configuration profile which can be downloaded from the company’s Development Center portal. Within 24 hours, these new betas should be made available for public testing for people who have signed up for Apple’s Beta Software Program.

The latest releases came two weeks after iOS 12.1.2 rolled out with fixes for eSIM activation and cellular connectivity issues, as well as workarounds for a pair of Qualcomm patents.

iOS 12.1.3, watchOS 5.1.3 and tvOS 12.1.2 will be bug-fix releases without any major new features. We’ll be combing through these new updates in an effort to document the changes.

Should you discover what’s new in the newly-launched betas, be sure to share your findings in the comments and we’ll update the post with any new information as it becomes available.
