Watch this shot on iPhone ad featuring lavishly decorated trucks that are all the rage in Japan

Apple’s shot on iPhone campaign has been running for a few years now, and continues unabated as the company on Friday published a new video to its official YouTube account that features Japan’s extravagantly decorated trucks, called “decotora.”

The video shows off one such truck, dubbed “Lady Misaki.”

She is adorned with a bunch of LED lights in an effort to showcase the improved low-light photography and video stabilization on the iPhone XS series stemming from the larger, faster sensor, the insanely fast A12 Bionic chips and an updated stabilization algorithm.

The amusing video, running two minutes and fifteen seconds long, was of course shot entirely on an iPhone XS, by Jiro Konami, with visual effects by Yoshi Sodeoka.

And here it is.

“Step into the world of decotora, Japan’s lavishly decorated trucks, where drivers’ livelihood and passion meet in one extravagant machine,” reads the video’s description.
