Hardcore Instagram users that also happen to be jailbreak aficionados have nothing to lose and everything to gain from trying a new jailbreak tweak called InstagramUnleashedXI by iOS developer Rishanan.
Just as the name implies, InstagramUnleashedXI brings a bevy of new features and improvements to the official Instagram app in an attempt to augment the user experience.
Once installed, you can take advantage of the following benefits:
- Prevent sponsored ads from appearing in your Instagram feed
- Prevent sponsored ads from appearing in your Instagram Story
- Prevent others from seeing when you’re read their direct messages
- Prevent others from seeing when you’ve viewed their Story
- Enable the “Business” account features on your profile
- View analytics and insights below every one of your photos and videos
- Enable a fictitious “Verified” badge to your profile (only visible by you)
- Enable a fictitious following count on your profile (only visible by you)
- Enable a fictitious followers count on your profile (only visible by you)
- Enable a fictitious likes count on your profile (only visible by you)
- Prevent Stories from appearing in your main Instagram feed
- Load up to three pages of content on each refresh instead of one while scrolling
- Disable video auto-playing
- Disable page swiping between Camera interface, Instagram feed, and direct messages
- Remove unwanted Explore feed from the Instagram app
Right off the bat, you can see that InstagramUnleashedXI provides a lot of features to its users, and the developer is always keeping an ear open for feature requests. That said, it’s possible we’ll see more features added in future updates, assuming the community speaks up.
Some features of InstagramUnleashedXI, such as hiding sponsored content and disabling read receipts, are more useful than others, but these features in and of themselves can seriously improve the Instagram experience on your platform.
