Taylor Swift’s new album Reputation hitting Apple Music some three weeks after launch

Taylor Swift’s latest album, Reputation, is starting to show up in Apple Music and Spotify, well after the November 10th release.

Bloomberg initially reported that Reputation wouldn’t be available for at least the first week after release on streaming services, but it looks like that is about to come to an end.

Users in Australia and the Philippines have started sharing screenshots showing the album becoming available in both Spotify and Apple Music.

Spotify in the US currently has the album, but all non-singles are greyed-out and disabled. We expect they should become available at midnight tonight.

If you wanted to listen to her new album, your only options were to pick it up in a physical brick and mortar store, or buy a copy in iTunes.

Swift and her team have been known to be particularly difficult negotiators. She made quite a stir coming out against Apple Music’s lack of payments to artists during the Apple Music 3-month trial. She also kept her albums off Spotify for three years as she debated the ethics and payment structures of streaming services.

If you are keen to stream Reputation, keep an eye out at midnight tonight. Let us know down below if you see it!
