As far the Mail app on iPhone and iPad is concerned, it’s pretty solid for day to day email activities, but third-party startups are coming up with great ways to improve the email experience. Now that you can remove stock apps from iOS 10, it’s a great opportunity to try a new third-party email app on your device.

Enter Newton, a familiar email client, formerly known as CloudMagic, that brings a number of premium features to the world of email on all of your devices.

You might remember CloudMagic as a great third-party email client that supported multiple email providers like iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo and others, and that it still is, but now the client has turned into a paid subscription-based service that provides you with premium features that most people using email don’t even have the luxury of using.

With Newton, you gain all kinds of great new email features that others would drool over. We’ll outline those for you below:

Read receipts: See when people have read your emails. Perfect for those people who never seem to reply.

Email scheduling: Compose your email now, and have it send to your recipient later on. Great for holidays and birthdays.

Strong security: Set up a passcode and even use Touch ID to log into your email. Keep people from reading your emails.

All of these great features, and more, can be tinkered with in the app’s settings, which are extensive. You can set up individual settings for each and every one of your email accounts, or you can apply settings to all of your accounts:

Of course, these features don’t necessarily come cheap. Although you can download the Newton app for free from the App Store and use its basic emailing features, the premium features are going to cost you $49.99 annually to use; that comes out to roughly $4.16 per month, but you get a complimentary 14-day free trial beforehand to try before you buy.

For an average user, this comes off as pricey, but to anyone who uses email on a regular basis and would like the added bells and whistles, the price could be worth it.

To add to the versatility of this app, it’s worth noting it’s a cross-platform email app. When you make your account, you can download the app for free on your Mac or Android devices too and simply log in with your Newton account to access the same great features on those devices too.
