Jailbreak tweaks of the week: Edge, SlideMe, & more…

Tweaks of the week

It’s Sunday again, and that means we’ll be sharing a list of all the jailbreak tweaks that were released in Cydia this week.

Although Cydia isn’t quite as busy as it is when there’s a fresh jailbreak out and about for the latest iOS firmware, Cydia is still kicking with some interesting releases.

In this roundup, we’ll show you our favorite jailbreak tweak releases of the week first, and then we’ll get to showing you the rest.

Our favorite releases this week

Edge – $1.99

Edge is a great new jailbreak tweak that brings a Samsung Galaxy S7-inspired feature to the iOS platform.

With it, you can swipe in from the left side of the screen and have instant access to recently-used apps, your favorite apps, app tasks, and even your favorite contacts. It’s super easy to customize these sections, and plenty of placeholder buttons are available in each section so you can put what you want inside of them.

The tweak comes with some options you can configure to tailor the tweak to your own personal needs, but to learn more about what the tweak will let you do, you can check out our full review.

SlideMe – $1.49

For those looking for a new passcode entry interface, SlideMe is a really cool new jailbreak tweak release that will let you use a rotary-style number entry method instead of a number pad.

By tapping and dragging to numbers in the rotary-style dialer, you can enter your passcode; you’ll lift your finger after every number entry, and then continue to the next in the sequence.

The tweak also lets you customize the colors and appearance of the rotary-style entry interface, but to learn more about how that works, we’d recommend reading our full review!
