In addition to adding Finnish language support that recently appeared in Spotify’s Android client, the updated software now makes it possible to save albums to Your Music, from any album page. Moreover, you can now easily check out album release dates and total play time, too.
To save a whole album to Your Music, hit the new Save button (see below) on the album page. And to access additional information like release year and total play time, simply swipe an album’s header.
Spotify 1.6.0 changelog:
- New: Save whole albums to Your Music directly from the album page. Check out release year and total play time by swiping the album header.
- New: Spotify now speaks Finnish.
- Fictitious: This app was designed by David Hasselhoff.
In related news, Spotify last week rolled out an interactive music map on the web. Dubbed Serendipity and created by artist Kyle McDonald, Serendipity shows when two users are listening to the same song within a tenth of a second of each other.
The 31.6-megabyte universal download requires an iPhone, iPod touch and iPad compatible with iOS 6.0 or later.
