How to enable Notifications for Tweetbot

Before you think to yourself how obvious the answer to that question is, let me assure you that I receive this question many times a day, especially after doing a video where I receive a Tweetbot banner notification.

Setting up banner notifications in Tweetbot may seem like a no-brainer to most of us, but there still remains a fair amount of people who find it confusing — my email inbox is a testament to that fact.

With this in mind, I felt we were long overdue for a tutorial that shows how to enable notifications for Tweetbot.

Apple is now worth $500,000,000,000

Apple's marketcap has just hit $500 billion dollars, with the help of the flurry of iPad 3 news today. Along with such an accomplishment, Apple has also just set a new 52-week high of $536.39 in after-hours trading.

Today's stock surge is due in part to Apple sending out invites to the media for its iPad 3 event, taking place on March 7th in California. This morning there were also rumors of what the iPad 3 might be packing...

Ads are coming to Twitter for iPhone

Two years ago, Twitter introduced 'Promoted Products', which are essentially ways for companies to advertise across the Twitter platform and gives Twitter the ability to make revenue. Companies can sign-up for Promoted Accounts, Tweets, and Trends as a way to bring notice to their service.

Today, Twitter announced that their iPhone app will start featuring Promoted Products. The advertising service was included in the latest Twitter for iOS update released last week. The Twitter crew will start sending out more Promoted Tweets, Accounts, and Trends to mobile devices over the next few weeks...

Decoding Apple’s iPad 3 event invitation

Apple finally sent out invitations for its iPad 3 media event this morning. The invites included the date, March 7th, the place, San Francisco, and a brief message: "We have something you really have to see. And touch."

Rumor: Apple launching upgraded Apple TV alongside new iPads

Now that we know for sure that Apple is hosting a media event next week, it's time to start predicting what the company will unveil. The event invitations all but confirm that a new iPad will be present, but will we see another new product?

9to5Mac seems to think so. The site is reporting that it has learned that on top of three new iPad models, Apple will be launching a new Apple TV next month...

Apple now sending out iPad 3 media event invites

Well, in case you needed any more proof that a new iPad was on the way, Apple just made it official. Several media outlets, including The Verge and The Loop are reporting this morning that they have received their official media invites to the iPad 3 event.

While the invites don't specifically mention that the event will be used to unveil a new tablet, we imagine that the image of a Retina-display iPad in the invitation's background gives that away. Full event details after the break...

Rumor: quad-core iPad 3 with LTE to be unveiled in New York next week [updated]
