Poll Shows Apple Most Popular Electronics Brand Among Youngsters

Apple has accomplished a lot of things over the past 10 years. It’s been dubbed the largest company in the world (in market cap), it dominates both the MP3 player and tablet markets, and it’s amassed quite a large amount of cash.

Now the Cupertino company has another accomplishment to hang its hat on — most popular youth brand. According to TechCrunch, Apple has joined the likes of Oreo and Nintendo as one of the most popular brands in America…

The news comes from a recent survey by Pollsters Harris Interactive regarding electronics. The company polled 5,077 American youngsters beween the ages of 8 and 24 about their brand preference and loyalty.

The poll found that Apple’s computers, iPads, and iPhones ranked highest in their respective categories. Companies like Hewlett Packard, Motorola Xoom, and HTC came in second place in each column.

It didn’t need it, but this is yet more evidence that the Cupertino company is doing things right. Who wouldn’t want to be the most popular electronics brand among youngsters, aren’t they the most likely to spur sales?
