White iPhone 4S Pops Up in AT&T’s Retail Software

Hold on to your hats folks, Engadget just dropped a bombshell. The tech blog just published a photo it received from a tipster that appears to be of a screen from AT&T's internal retail software.

The screenshot looks like it was taken from the carrier's trouble ticket system, a place where reps can pass issues on to tech support. What's so interesting about the pic? It seemingly outs a new Apple device — the iPhone 4S...

Use Your iPhone to Control a Tiny Ball with Sphero

Using the iPhone to remotely control cars and other vehicles was once limited to hackers and hobbyist. But ever since Parrot introduced the AR.Drone, we've seen several RC accessories hit the iOS scene.

It seems like remote control helicopters are all the rage with accessory-makers this Fall, but Orbotix has something else in mind. They want you to use your iDevice to control a Fushigi-looking robotic sphere...

Enter Park4U. The assisted-parking system by Valeo uses several sensors and other components to help drivers squeeze their vehicles into even the tightest parking spots, without ever needing to touch the wheel...

These "Network Optimization Practices" consist of reducing the data speed of the top 5% of Verizon users, a.k.a those who are on an unlimited data plan and use more than 2GB of data per month...

About Those iPhone 5 Cases

It seems as though Case-Mate started a firestorm with its little publicity stunt yesterday. I call it that because whether its depiction of the iPhone 5 was accurate or not, I'm sure the company enjoyed the extra traffic.

The iPhone mockups in Case-Mate's photos looked an awful lot like the iPad 2, and some folks didn't like that. In fact, our very own Jeff wrote a piece about the images. But love 'em or hate 'em, the design can't be too far off. And here's why...

Another week, and that can only mean one or two things; you just got paid, and/or it's time for another episode of Ask Jeff.

As always, this is the show where you the viewers get to ask the questions, and I do my best to provide some decent answers.

On this week's docket, we tackle Apple fanboys, compare Android devices to the iPhone, queuing in line for the iPhone 5, and chit-chat about some of my favorite jailbreak apps. If you have a question that you're just dying to get answered, step right up...
