Tweetbot for iPhone Adds Push Notifications for All

One of the best Twitter clients for the iPhone, Tweetbot, has finally added push notifications for replies, mentions, direct messages, etc.

Update 1.4.2 to Tweetbot for iPhone adds push notification badges to the app icon, and the app’s developers at Tapbots are also claiming that all users should finally be able to fully enable push notifications.

“These are available in 1.4.2 or later. If you don’t see them, make sure you have the latest update. If they still aren’t working, be sure to check your iOS notification settings for Tweetbot. There’s a toggle for badges there.”

Tweetbot has been rolling out support for push notifications to beta testers over the last few weeks, and, according to Tapbots, the new push service should now be available to anyone that wants to give it a try.

You can download Tweetbot for $2.99 in the App Store. If you already use Tweetbot, then go grab the latest update. Push notifications can be turned on in the app’s settings.
