Stefan Esser, better known as "i0n1c," has been receiving a lot of heat from the jailbreak community as of late. Stefan is a prominent member of the jailbreak developer scene, and he was responsible for the untethered exploit that has been used for the iOS 4.3 jailbreak.
i0n1c recently introduced the idea of banning pirated apps in the iOS 5 jailbreak. He stated that if he were to release the jailbreak for iOS 5, he would consider placing a restriction on installing apps from the infamous 'Installous' repo. Millions of jailbreakers use Installous to download pirated apps.
Hackulous, the group behind Installous, obviously feels very differently about i0n1c's notion. The frontman for Hackulous, known as Dissident, has also shared his thoughts on the issue of banning cracked apps through a jailbreak.
We actually haven't heard too many new hardware rumors in the last few weeks. It seems like everyone is too busy digging through Apple's new iOS 5 software for new features to really care at the moment.
But gossip picked up again over the weekend, as International Business Times stirred up the rumor pot with further speculation on the iPhone 5's release date. The publication believes that we'll all be lining up on September 7th for the next iPhone...
While Apple's iPads are currently assembled in the Foxconn factories in China, by September the devices will also be produced in Brazil. The country's Minister of Science and Technology, Aloízio Mercadante, has revealed that Foxconn's new plant in the Brazilian city of Jundiai was initially scheduled to begin production of Apple's tablet in late July, but due to "construction glitches" and a shortage of skilled workers, that date has had to be pushed back.
Foxconn now has 175 engineers set to work in the plant, who have been sent to China for training. However, the company will require over 200 to get things moving. When the factory does open its doors, Brazilians can expect the iPad to be around 40% cheaper for consumers than the model currently imported from China...

The grid lines are very helpful for getting the shot straight (horizon, edges of buildings, etc, can be used to ensure the camera is leveled).

SBSettings is always the first tweak I install after jailbreaking. Even when it's not installed, I find myself swiping at the statusbar expecting a menu to drop. The simple utility gives me quick access to toggle Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings, as well as a respring function.
