How to Charge 20 iPhones at Once

Ever wondered how you could possibly sync 20 iPhones at the same time? No, me neither, but at least now I know how to.

PARASYNC is a new accessory that lets you plug 20 iPhones (or any iDevice) in a giant docking station to easily sync them with iTunes. With 20 devices plugged at the same time, data transfer will obviously be slower. The company's website states it takes about 20 minutes to sync 1GB of data, and 35 minutes for 2GB.

I guess the question on everybody's lips is "who the heck needs to sync 20 iPhones at once?"

Quickly Switch Between Two Apps with LastApp

For all you speed demons out there, iOS4's multitasking is a little bit cumbersome. Sure you can work in one app, load up the switcher, and then select the app you would like to switch to, but in most cases, there's only a couple of apps you need to use simultaneously.

If you find yourself switching back and forth between two apps quickly, i.e., App Store and Safari, then LastApp is a true gem. This time-saver has been around for a while, but it hasn't received much attention...

Best Buy Makes Space for the White iPhone 4

Engadget has the picture of a shelf tag for a 16GB white iPhone 4, supposedly spotted at a Best Buy location in Houston. At $599, we can only imagine this is a contract-free iPhone.

There has been more and more rumors lately about the availability of a white iPhone 4, which might lead us to think Apple's own unicorn might indeed hit the shelves sooner than later. Heck, even Woz confirmed it...

MyWi “OnDemand” Brings Intelligent Hotspot Functionality to the iPhone

MyWi is an incredibly popular Cydia app that allows jailbreakers to have a heavily customizable mobile hotspot with their iPhone's 3G connection. We here at iDB love MyWi, and it's definitely been a staple of what the jailbreak scene has to offer for quite some time.

MyWi OnDemand will study the behavior of the devices connected to your hotspot, and connect or disconnect when you need it to...

Why Verizon iPhone 4 Record Sales is Anything But Amazing

You might have read somewhere that Verizon broke a sales record with the pre-order of the iPhone 4 this Thursday. Verizon actually issued a press release which quickly got picked up by every tech blog, touting this as an incredible event.

The press release quotes Verizon's CEO saying "in just our first two hours, we had already sold more phones than any first day launch in our history. And, when you consider these initial orders were placed between the hours of 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., it is an incredible success story". I call BS on that...

AT&T Commercial “Answers” The Biggest Problem With Verizon iPhone

And you thought the Mac v.s. PC ads were heated. It looks like Verizon and AT&T are prepared to sling mud now that AT&T is not the only carrier claiming the iPhone as its flagship device.

The finger pointing started when AT&T sent out an email to its customers with the subject line, “Feel free to make a call while reading this email." This jab was aimed directly at Verizon, who's CDMA network does not currently allow voice and data at the same time.

Big Red then struck back at AT&T with a poignant and witty commercial featuring the Verizon "Can you hear me now?" guy. AT&T has now retaliated with its own Verizon-aimed commercial...
