Ubisoft confirms action RPG Assassin’s Creed — Identity is launching on February 25

Following its soft-launch on the App Store in Australia and New Zealand in September 2014, action RPG Assassin's Creed — Identity will be finally launching worldwide on February 25, French games maker Ubisoft confirmed yesterday on Twitter.

Filed as the first Assassin’s Creed action RPG game for mobile devices, Identity features open sandbox levels and lets you create, evolve and customize your own assassins and play them in the iconic Renaissance Italy setting.

Ubisoft teases Heroes of Might & Magic III for iPad, due in January

The classic PC game, Heroes of Might & Magic III, is coming to the iPad next month, French games maker Ubisoft confirmed Wednesday.

The fantasy turn-based strategy game has you controlling a bunch of heroes that command an army of creatures inspired by myth and legend.

As you may have guessed, it's been optimized for the 21st century gameplay with updated Retina graphics, touch controls and more.

In addition to the turn-based combat system, the game focuses on tactical overland exploration, resource management, RPG-like character progression and strategizing.

Ubisoft releases ‘Arcade Poker’ tie-in game for Far Cry 4

Ubisoft has launched a new tie-in title for the highly anticipated Far Cry 4, set to launch on consoles and PCs today, called Far Cry 4 Arcade Poker. It's a standalone app, but players can sync it up with the new Far Cry to earn currency that can be used in the game.

Arcade Poker is an interesting game that plays like a mix of tetris, poker and something else. Cards fall from the top of the screen, and can be randomly shuffled until they hit the bottom to build a 5-card poker hand. The better the hand, the more coins you'll be given.

Ubisoft releases official companion app for Assassin’s Creed Unity

Ubisoft has today posted the official companion app for its new hit console and PC video game, Assassin's Creed Unity. Set within Paris, during the French Revolution, this is the seventh major installment in the popular Assassin's Creed series.

Those who have purchased the game, or plan to, will definitely want to check out the app, which includes a 3D, interactive map and glyph puzzles that unlock new Brotherhood missions. It also offers useful content like tutorials and training tips.

Ubisoft confirms iOS edition of Valiant Hearts: The Great War coming on September 4

Games developer and publisher Ubisoft today confirmed that the iOS edition of Valiant Hearts: The Great War, its puzzle-adventure game set during the World War I, is coming to the App Store next month.

The game, inspired by letters written during the World War I, has originally made its debut on Sony's PlayStation and Microsoft's Xbox consoles, as well as on Windows PCs, in June of last year.

Much like the original release, the iOS version is like a playable graphics novel. Of course, the iOS port features touch-optimized controls, crisp graphics designed for Retina screens, Game Center support and more...
