iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak teased, but don’t expect anything

There is a jailbreak for iOS 9.3.3, but you shouldn’t hold your breath for it as you most likely won’t be able to enjoy it anytime soon, if ever. As he did in the past, Italian hacker Luca Todesco teased what appears to be an iPod touch running iOS 9.3.3. beta 1 with Cydia installed earlier today, and if the past is any indication of the future, nothing will materialize for jailbreak users like you and me.

Kabam teases upcoming RPG ‘Star Wars Uprising’ for mobile

Star Wars fans have a lot to be excited about this year. There’s, of course, the new movie ‘The Force Awakens’ that’s coming out in December, and a handful of new console games are on the way. There’s also apparently a new RPG coming to mobile devices.

Publisher Kablam has begun teasing its upcoming role-playing game, Star Wars Uprising, which will debut on various mobile platforms later this year. It will serve as a bridge, connecting the events of Return of the Jedi and this year’s new Star Wars film.

AMC teases new mobile game ‘The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land’

AMC and Finland-based Next Games have announced an upcoming mobile title called ‘The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land.’  The partners say the game will feature gameplay exclusively developed for smartphones and tablet devices.

This is the second mobile game we’ve seen for the popular zombie franchise, but unlike Telltale Games’ Walking Dead series, which is based on the comic books, this game is based on the hit TV show. Check out the teaser trailer below…

TinyCo posts teaser video for upcoming Family Guy game

We’ve been following the progress of the Family Guy mobile project since it was first announced last year. The series is one of the most popular on television right now, and many believe the game has the potential to give The Simpsons: Tapped Out a run for its money.

In fact, the two games will be very similar. TinyCo has said that ‘Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff’ will be a free-to-play title with various resource management elements. And today, the developers offered up even more information on the project along with a new teaser…

Auxo 2 jailbreak tweak coming to Cydia April 2nd

Good news jailbreakers. The dev group A3 tweaks announced earlier today that Auxo 2, the highly anticipated sequel to their original jailbreak tweak, is nearing completion and should be ready for release sometime this week.
We first saw evidence of Auxo 2 at the beginning of the month, when the group’s UI designer Sentry posted a pair of 6-second video clips teasing some of the tweak’s features. And today, a much longer trailer has been posted…

Popular PC game ‘Faster Than Light’ landing on iPad next week

Good news for gamers this afternoon, as it’s been announced that the popular PC/Mac title Faster Than Light will be making its way to the iPad next week. The developers announced the release date via the official FTL Twitter account, and said it will be accompanied by a free desktop content expansion pack.
For those who are unfamiliar with FTL, it’s a top-down, real-time strategy game that has players managing a crew and its faster-than-light spacecraft as it flies through multiple galaxy systems. In it, you’ll face off against rebel and other hostile forces, recruit new crew members and ensure your ship’s safety…

Rovio teases new Tiny Thief episode ‘Bewitched’

It seems like Rovio has been ‘teasing’ a lot of things lately. There’s its upcoming RPG ‘Angry Birds Epic,’ and then ‘Angry Birds Stella,’ which is coming this fall. But what about for the folks who aren’t a fan of the furry fowl-flinging franchise? Two words: Tiny Thief.

That’s right, the Finnish developer has posted a teaser trailer for a new episode of its popular puzzler this weekend. The episode is entitled ‘Bewitched,’ and as you’d imagine it has a Halloween-kind of vibe with witches flying on brooms and—well, just watch the clip…

Rovio teases yet another new Angry Birds game

It hasn’t even been a month yet since Rovio unveiled its new game ‘Angry Birds Stella,’ and the studio has already begun to tease a new title for its hit franchise. A 30-second clip showing a bird wearing a suit of armor popped up on Rovio’s YouTube channel over the weekend.
The trailer instructs users to prepare for the most ‘epic soft launch ever,’ suggesting that the new game will be launching in the near future. It also tells us that the game will be arriving in Australia and Canada first, with other countries to follow shortly after. View the clip below…

Auxo 2 teased in videos

In October 2012, we posted a few images from a concept by an up-and-coming designer called “Rethinking the App Switcher for the iPhone 5.” As the name suggested, the concept offered a different take on the then-bottom-loading app switcher.

That designer’s name was Sentry, who is now one of the most well-known figures in the jailbreak community, and that concept went on to become Auxo, perhaps one of the most popular tweaks of all time. And yes, folks, a sequel is on the way…

Jailbreak developer Elias Limneos teases upcoming Touch ID tweak

Jailbreak developer Elias Limneos—best known for his work on popular tweaks like SBRotator and CallBar—just answered the question a lot of folks have had on their minds since they found out a jailbreak was out for iOS 7 and the iPhone 5s: will there be Touch ID tweaks?

And the answer is yes. Limneos tweeted out a link to a new YouTube video this morning that teases an upcoming tweak for the iPhone 5s. Not much can be gleaned from the short clip, but it looks like it allows you to protect individual apps with Touch ID authentication…

Fruit Ninja creators tease new game ‘Colossatron: Massive World Threat’

Gamers will be happy to hear that Halfbrick, the creators of popular iOS titles like Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, have a new game coming out. The studio made quite a bit of commotion when it made the announcement yesterday at PAX Australia.

The game is called Colossatron: Massive World Threat, and it’s a tower defense-esque title that has you managing a massive robotic snake known as the—you guessed it—Colossatron. And you essentially have one goal: destroy as much stuff as you can…

Rovio teases new ‘Angry Birds Go’ game

Raise your hand if you’ve been thinking to yourself “you know, I think there really needs to be another Angry Birds game.” No one? Ok. Well apparently that’s what the folks at Rovio have been thinking, because one is coming.

The developers of the popular Angry Birds platform just announced on their blog that they have an all new game in the works called ‘Angry Birds Go.’ It didn’t offer up many details for the game, but it did post this teaser image…
