Poll: do you own any HomeKit products?

Do I have any HomeKit accessories in my home? No, not yet, but that's because I currently live in a rented apartment. I'll be getting smart home gadgets when I buy my own house, that's for sure. Until that day arrives, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for prices of HomeKit products to continue dropping.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of how HomeKit brings these appliances together in the Home app with support for scenes, Siri voice control, remote management via Apple TV and other perks. I also like it a lot how HomeKit products are required to use hardware encryption for security purposes. It's just that outfitting my home with these smart gadgets would represent too sizable an investment for my budget, that's all.

So, what about you? Do you own any HomeKit-certified accessories? Cast your vote and meet us in comments if you'd like to share your thoughts about the HomeKit platform or any HomeKit devices you already own, or may be planning on buying.

Poll: Did you update to iOS 10?

iOS 10

Apple officially launched iOS 10 to the hands of the public this week with more than 100 new features for iPhone and iPad users.

It looks like an exciting update, but we know some people are still wary of updating this early in the game. So to find out where you stand, we've launched another poll you can participate in.

Poll: Will you buy the Apple Watch Series 2?

Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Series 2 at yesterday's keynote event alongside the iPhone 7 lineup with improvements to speed and capability, and also bumped up the specs of the original Apple Watch all while re-branding it the Apple Watch Series 1.

But is the second-generation Apple Watch everything you were hoping for? Let us know in this poll whether or not you'll be ordering one.

Poll: Will you be upgrading to iPhone 7?

Apple's newly-unveiled iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are truly stunning in visual appeal and new features, and many of you are undoubtedly going to be either pre-ordering this Friday or lining up at your local stores to try and get one when they're available.

When the time comes, will you keep your jailbreak, or update to iOS 10?

Pangu released the first jailbreak for iOS 9.3.3 last week, following a huge lull in the jailbreak community that left many with lost hope and the decision to just rock a stock device from here on out.

Nevertheless, those who love jailbreaking have already jailbroken their devices again, despite a lot of issues that were reported about the new jailbreak.

So now that a week has passed, what will you do - keep it, or update?

Now that the English jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3.3 is out, will you jailbreak?

The jailbreak for iOS 9.2-9.3.3 has been out since last weekend, but it wasn't until Friday that Pangu got to launching an English version of the once Chinese-only jailbreak tool.

As we know many of you were holding out for an English jailbreak and for a few updates to the tool for stability, we're curious about whether or not you'll be making the jump now that the English tool is out.

Poll: will you upgrade to iOS 10 or keep your jailbreak?

Apple announced iOS 10 yesterday at the company's WWDC 2016 Keynote and awed the audience with some pretty neat new features.

Of course, the battle continues for those who want more control over their devices, and because of that, we want to know whether you're going to be updating to iOS 10 this Fall, or if you'll be keeping your iOS device(s) jailbroken on iOS 9 or earlier.

Poll: have you updated to iOS 9.3?

After closing its 'Let us loop you in' special event on Monday, Apple released iOS 9.3 to the public, along with OS X El Capitan 10.11.4, tvOS 9.2, and watchOS 2.2.

iOS 9.3 is a big update for iPhones, iPod touches, and iPads, and as a result, we're interested in learning whether or not the update was big enough for you to download on your daily drivers.

Poll: Will you keep your jailbreak or update to iOS 9.3?

Just this week, Apple surprised us all with a major revision to iOS going into its first beta: iOS 9.3. The reason for the surprise? Apple also has a beta period running for iOS 9.2.1, which still hasn't been released to the public just yet. The new iOS beta was also followed by watchOS 2.2, tvOS 9.2, and OS X 10.11.4.

Like previously noted, this is no minor update, but a major revision to iOS. It comes with a variety of major new features, including the flagship feature Night Shift, which is a lot like the popular f.lux extension that changes the color temperature of your display after certain hours to work with your circadian rhythm to help you sleep better, the ability to pair multiple Apple Watches, new ways for developers to update to new betas, app improvements, and more.

But for those loyal to jailbreaking, is iOS 9.3 enough to lure you away from the freedom to do whatever you want with your iOS device?

Poll: should iPhone 7 be thinner or have a longer-lasting battery?

There has been lot of talk lately about Apple's relentless pursue of engineering ever-thinner iPhones. A next-generation iPhone, for example, is said to be iPod touch-thin. As you know, the iPod touch actually has a poorer battery life than any iPhone model simply because it doesn't have the space for an iPhone-grade battery.

This is prompting some people to wonder if the iPhone 7 should just be as thick as the current iPhone 6s, or even a bit thicker, if that meant boosting its battery capacity for an improved run time.

This poll seeks to figure out if you'd be willing to trade thinness for battery life, or vice versa. So, would you prefer the iPhone 7 to be thinner or have a longer battery life?

Vote for your favorite Apple product of the year

With only a few hours left in 2015, we'd like to ask you to take a few seconds to take our poll and vote for your favorite Apple product of the year.

For relevancy reasons, we only take into account products that have seen a significant update, and we did not include accessories (sorry Smart Battery Case lovers) and peripherals.
