Apple’s Q4 earnings report: 26.9M iPhones and 14M iPads sold, $36B in revenue

As promised, Apple has released its quarterly earnings report this afternoon. This is the company’s third calendar quarter for 2012, and fourth fiscal quarter, and is the last one before the big holiday season.

Well it’s finally happened folks. After years of speculation and anticipation, Apple has announced the iPad mini. As expected, it has a 7.9-inch display, front and back cameras, and an LTE option.

Study shows size of iOS apps have increased 16% in last six months

According to a new report from the marketing research firm ABI Research, the average size of an iOS app measured 23 megabytes in September, an increase of more than 16% in the last six months.
