Some people take such good care of their mobile devices that, for the most part, they don’t really need any protection. Those people tend to prefer their iPhone 6 to be completely uncovered to show off Apple’s beautiful design.
But, there is always the slightest chance that the soft aluminum of the iPhone 6 could be exposed to minor scuffs and scratches, providing a need for the thinnest of protection. The Veil fits into this ultra thin market with its ultra thinnest design.
Photography hobbyist and professionals alike have their favorite tripod for taking steady shots. Even the most amateur iPhone photographer might enjoy a selfie stick every once in a while. Why limit yourself to just one tripod?
DaVoice makes a basic smartphone tripod adapter mount that stretches wide enough to be used with such devices as the iPhone 6 Plus, and is universally adaptable to both mini stands and standard tripods.
Did you purchase your current iPhone 6 for $15 per month through T-Mobile’s JUMP! On Demand trade-in program? If so, you’ll be automatically eligible for a free upgrade to Apple’s ‘iPhone 6s’—or whatever it will be called when it’s released this fall.
In addition to permitting its Simple Choice customers to listen to their favorite songs on Apple Music without taking a byte of their monthly 4G LTE data, carrier T-Mobile today announced that iPhone customers participating in said upgrade plan will be able to get their hands on Apple’s next-gen handset without paying anything to upgrade or increasing their monthly JUMP! On Demand payment.
Pico projectors are hot commodity these days. They are also expensive. However, there are ways to get a decent picture in dark environments for less than $100 if you don’t need a lot of high tech specs.
The Tronfy TP-50 mini projector is capable of projecting whatever is showing on your iPhone screen onto a wall, white screen, or even sheet and you won’t have to break the bank to get one.
Well-connected KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has issued a new report to clients ahead of Apple’s June quarter earnings report, which is due this coming Tuesday.
The note, a copy of which was obtained by AppleInsider, provides several predictions regarding Apple’s upcoming product refreshes.
For starters, Kuo is expecting new Apple Watch Sport variants in rose and yellow gold color options matching the upcoming ‘iPhone 6s’ and ‘iPhone 6s Plus’ colors. He also wrote that new iMac models with upgraded processors could arrive later this year, in addition to a thinner, lighter iPad mini and more.
How many times have you been out and about with friends or family when more than one person announces that they need to charge their iPhone while you are making a trip from one place to another? Probably a lot. I know it happens to me all of the time.
The EleckeyTM car charger will help get you through those tough times with two smart USB ports so you can charge multiple devices at the same time. If you have two power outlet sockets in your car, you can grab an extra Eleckey for quad charging fun.
Apple yesterday refreshed its aging lineup of iPod-branded music players. By and large, the iPod touch has received its most substantial upgrade yet as Apple really went all out with upgrades on the hardware front.
Not only does the new iPod touch run the latest Apple-designed “A8” processor as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, but includes the M8 motion coprocessor, a much-improved eight-megapixel camera on the back, three times faster Wi-Fi and the latest in Bluetooth networking.
Here are some interesting tidbits related to the iPod touch’s hardware surprises.
Just like smartphones, dashboard mount style is a personal thing. Maybe you like your mount to attach to your windshield. Perhaps you prefer a flexible snaking neck. There are a number of different types of dashboard mounts. Finding the right one for you is key to a happy driving experience.
Take Spigen’s Stealth, for example. It looks different than other mounts in that it has a sort of clothespin style design. Instead of a suction cup that you stick to your dash, this mount sits on top for a minimalist look.
When driving around, having your iPhone in a convenient location for GPS tracking and music listening is not only helpful, but potentially life saving. A car mount will give you a safe place to store your iPhone, but what about charging?
The iKross Universal Car Cup Holder is a car mount for your cup holder that includes up to five additional charging ports so everyone can charge up on their next road trip without having to switch out.
There are a few alternatives to unsightly (and in some states, illegally) dashboard mounts that make it possible for you to experience safer viewing of your iPhone 6 in your car. The vent mount is one of them.
Kenu’s Airframe is a universal car mount that is small enough to fit in your pocket, but designed to support your iPhone 6 while it sits in your air vent. So, you can still see what’s on screen without having to mount it to your dashboard, or even worse, look down.
As an owner of a larger iPhone, OneHandWizard ($3.99) is one of my favorite jailbreak tweaks on Cydia. It allows you to quickly switch to a one-handed mode that’s far and away more practical than the built in Reachability feature on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
Earlier this year, we reviewed OneHandWizard, and it was met with high praise. It may seem like a simple thing, but if you’re on a larger device like the 6 and 6 Plus, and you haven’t tried it, I think you’re missing out.
But don’t fret. Here’s your chance to see what you’ve been missing. We’re giving away 10 copies of OneHandWizard to our readers!
