Bloomberg Businessweek's Brad Stone and Adam Satariano interviewed several Apple executives, including Tim Cook, Jony Ive and Jeff Williams, after their big event last week. Tim Cook talks user privacy in part 2 of Charlie Rose interview

PBS has posted a new clip of Tim Cook's interview with Charlie Rose to YouTube this evening. The two-part interview, of which the first half aired on Friday night and the second half airs tonight, covers a wide range of topics, including Steve Jobs, the Apple Watch and more.

The latest clip sees Cook talking with Rose about user privacy, and how Apple approaches the hot button issue. Cook explains that Apple isn't in the business of collecting user data, and it purposefully designs its services—email, iMessage, etc.—to collect as little of it as possible.

Apple CEO Tim Cook is making the media rounds this week, following his company's big product unveiling event on Tuesday. He's spoken with ABC, The Wall Street Journal and several other outlets, and today he has popped up in an interview on PBS' The Charlie Rose Show.

It's a two-part interview, with the first segment airing today, and PBS has just posted a handful of clips from the conversation to YouTube. In them, Cook talks to Charlie about a wide range of topics, including Steve Jobs, Apple's Beats acquisition, and its future plans for TV.

Following today's "historic" media event, Apple CEO Tim Cook sat down with ABC News' David Muir for an exclusive interview. The full interview will air on tonight's episode of 'World News Tonight,' but ABC has just posted a teaser clip of the conversation.

In the clip, which we've posted below, Cook talks to Muir about the significance of this morning's event. The keynote took place at the same venue where Steve Jobs unveiled the original Mac in 1984, Muir wanted to know if that was on Cook's mind at all today.

Tim Cook speaks out on recent iCloud hacks, promises new security measures

Tim Cook sat down with The Wall Street Journal today, but not to talk about how excited Apple is about next week's iPhone event. Instead, the CEO answered questions regarding the recent iCloud scandal, which led to the posting of dozens of nude celebrity photos earlier this week.

Apple has already released a statement on the matter, claiming that iCloud and its subsequent services had not been breached. Cook reiterated those claims today, and added that the Cupertino company plans to rollout a number of new security features to make its devices more safe.

Jony Ive says “Switzerland’s in trouble” ahead of expected iWatch unveiling

After years of speculation, it's believed that Apple is finally ready to show off its new wearable device, dubbed the 'iWatch' by much of the media. And according to the company's senior vice president of design Jony Ive, the folks over in Switzerland are in trouble.

In a recent article on tech and fashion, The New York Times' Nick Bilton mentions that he spoke with Mr. Ive about the so-called iWatch. Obviously, the designer doesn't offer up an official comment on the secret project, but it's clear that he's very confident in it.

Tom Hanks promotes new iPad app in App Store interview

Here's something you don't hear every day. Actor Tom Hanks participated in an App Store interview this afternoon, in an effort to promote his new iPad app 'Hanx Writer.' The conversation happened via Twitter, with Mr. Hanks answering questions asked by the official App Store account.

Hanx Writer aims to recreate the experience of a manual typewriter on the iPad, with authentic sounds and graphics. And while there are already a host of similar apps on the App Store, early reviews say that none of them come close to Hanx in terms of polish and attention to detail...

Tim Cook interviews offer more details on Beats acquisition

Apple's newly appointed VP of Environmental Initiatives, and former head of EPA, Lisa Jackson spoke at Fortune's Brainstorm Green conference earlier this week. The executive talked about a number of topics, including the iPad-makers various green projects.

Jackson noted that although Apple has done a good job reducing its carbon footprint over the past few years, it still has a long way to go. Their next major challenge, she says, is getting their 400+ retail stores around the globe to run on 100% on renewable energy...

Roku CEO unfazed by talk of new Apple, Amazon TV boxes

With Amazon expected to unveil a new set-top box device next week, and Apple rumored to have a new TV product of its own in the wings, you have to wonder if the folks over at Roku are concerned at all about their business. Well if they are, they certainly aren't showing it.

Roku CEO Anthony Wood joined Peter Kafka on stage last night for an interview at the inaugural Code/Media event, and he appeared unfazed by the news that Amazon will likely be encroaching on his turf. He also didn't seem too worried about Apple's future television plans...

Apple engineer offers detailed look at development of original iPhone software

The Wall Street Journal published an interesting interview with Apple senior software engineer Greg Christie yesterday, in which Christie offers a detailed look at some of the events that led up to the original iPhone. Apparently the Cupertino company gave him permission to discuss the development process of the handset.

Admittedly, a lot of the things mentioned we've heard before—from book excerpts, court testimonies, etc.—but Christie does provide a few new details. For instance, he says at one point Jobs gave him and his team two weeks to come up with something or he would be reassigning the 'iPhone software' project to another group...
