AlwaysOnHeadphones can improve the call-taking experience on Apple Watch

Having an Apple Watch is convenient for a bevy of reasons, but one of my favorites is having instantaneous access to messages and phone calls from the comfort of my wrist, even when my iPhone isn’t within arm’s reach.

As wonderful as it is, it’s not without its quirks. Perhaps one of the most annoying processes has to do with how you would take Apple Watch-centric phone calls when you have a Bluetooth headset or headphones connected to your iPhone, and a newly released jailbreak tweak called AnswerOnHeadphones by iOS developer CardboardFace aims to fix this once and for all.

Twelve South Fermata headphone and charging stand declutters your desk for a premium price

As part of a Work From Home (WFH) mini series, I am taking a look at some gadgets that are helping me stay organized and focused during shelter-in-place. Decluttering my home workspace has been a key to some focused success.

The Twelve South Fermata has helped in this endeavor by giving my headphones a dedicated place to sit and charge! With an aluminum design and genuine leather accents, its a great addition to my WFH spot.

Ainsworth upgrades iOS’ pairing interface for all your favorite accessories

If you’ve ever paired a set of AirPods or Beats-branded headphones with your iPhone before, then you should be vividly familiar with the unique Bluetooth pairing experience that you’re presented with when you bring these devices close to your iPhone for the first time. Apple describes the experience as magical, and that’s no lie.

But if you’re pairing any other brand of device with your iPhone, be it a pair of headphones or perhaps a speaker for that matter, you’ll find that the pairing experience isn’t quite as magical. Apple does this on purpose to make its products stand out, but if you want a similar pairing experience for your third-party accessories, then you can take advantage of a newly released jailbreak tweak dubbed Ainsworth by iOS developer Dave van Wijk to do just that.

KZ-ZST in-ear monitors: incredible-sounding cheap headphones

I try a lot of different headphone types, multiple styles of cans, ear buds, in ear monitors (IEMs), AirPods, active noise cancelling, etc. It is generally safe to say, in the headphone market, you get what you pay for. I wanted, however, to challenge that perception by purchasing an extremely low cost pair of buds and see if they could hold their own against other pricier models I tested in the past. Let's take a look at these $19.99 in-ear monitors.
