Apple posts new ‘Timer’ iPhone 6s ad starring Cookie Monster

Apple on Wednesday shared a new iPhone 6s ad on its YouTube page called 'Timer.' The spot stars the popular Sesame Street character Cookie Monster, and is set in a kitchen where he is baking—you guessed it—cookies.

With a humorous tone, the commercial demonstrates the hands-free 'Hey Siri' feature on Apple's iPhone 6s. Cookie Monster uses it to accomplish a variety of tasks, including setting a kitchen timer and playing a music playlist.

Apple posts new iPhone 6s ads highlighting 3D Touch and Live Photos

Apple on Wednesday posted two new iPhone 6s ads to its YouTube channel entitled Less Time and Live Photos. As it says in the headline, each spot highlights one of two major features from the company's latest handset: 3D Touch and Live Photos.

The first video, Less Time, talks about what 3D Touch is and the many ways you can use it. Notably, actress Aubrey Plaza makes a cameo. The second clip, Live Photos, similarly shows the feature in action, and lists off some of its many benefits.

Apple Music and Sonos promote partnership in new TV spot

Apple Music and Sonos teamed up to release a new television spot on Monday night, promoting their recently-announced partnership. The ad, which debuted during the Grammy Music Awards, features products from both brands, as well as a handful of music stars.

We've embedded the ad below, but for a little context, the stars you see are Killer Mike, a hip-hop artist and part of the popular duo Run the Jewels; Matt Berninger, frontman for indie rock band The National; and Annie Clark, better known by her stage name St. Vincent.

Apple posts new Apple TV ad ‘The Future of TV is Apps’

Apple on Thursday shared a new video advertisement for the Apple TV on its YouTube page. Aptly named "The Future of TV is Apps," the spot highlights a number of popular games and applications that are available through the tvOS App Store.

Titles mentioned include WatchESPN, Asphalt 8, and HBO Now, and instead of showing them in action in a normal Apple TV interface, the ad illustrates them using 3D animations. It's a bit hard to explain, so you should probably just watch it.

Apple posts hilarious new iPhone 6s ad with actor Bill Hader

Apple on Tuesday posted a new iPhone 6s commercial, highlighting the hands-free capabilities of the just-released smartphone. The ad stars Bill Hader, the long-time Saturday Night Live actor who appeared in Apple's "Backstage" video at WWDC this year.

The spot demonstrates how users can tap Siri to read and respond to emails using voice commands, with a bit involving the well-known "foreign prince wants to help you get rich" scam. As you can imagine, it's pretty entertaining. Watch the 30-second clip below.

Apple on Thursday posted a new iPhone 6s commercial, with a special focus on its new 3D Touch feature. During the ad, you hear a voiceover explain how Peek and Pop work, followed by a list of several things you can do with them.

In typical Apple fashion, most of the tasks covered by the voiceover are demonstrated by users on-screen. At one point we even see actor/singer Jamie Foxx, who uses 3D Touch in the Music app to access his just-released R&B album.

Apple posts new ‘if it’s not an iPhone’ ad highlighting Apple Pay

Apple on Thursday posted a new ad to its YouTube channel labeled "iPhone - Apple Pay." The spot is the latest in the company's ongoing "if it's not an iPhone, it's not an iPhone" campaign, and of course highlights its new mobile payment service.

The commercial is very similar to previous ads in the campaign. It begins with a voiceover saying "this is an iPhone," and then the video proceeds to show how Apple Pay works. The shot closes with the tagline "if it's not an iPhone, it's not an iPhone."

Apple posts 3 new Apple Watch ads: ‘Rise,’ ‘Up’ and ‘Us’

It's officially Apple Watch launch day, and Apple has already started celebrating by debuting 3 new advertisements for the wearable. On its YouTube channel, the company posted new videos entitled 'Rise,' 'Up' and 'Us,' respectively.

The ads are a major departure from the 'Reimagined' commercial Apple has been playing since March. Each one focuses on a tentpole feature—time, fitness and communication—and demonstrates them using real-world scenarios.

Apple has spent $38 million on Apple Watch ads since March

Apple has spent $38 million on its "Watch Reimagined" television campaign, according to US ad-tracking firm iSpot.tv. Reuters points to the report, and notes that the company spent just under $42 million on TV ads for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus over the past 5 months.

iSpot.tv says that there has been more than 300 airings of the Apple Watch commercial within the last month, almost half of which have been in primetime spots. The ad played during the NCAA Championship game, AMC's "The Walking Dead," and other hit TV shows.

Apple introduces new ‘Change’ iPad Air 2 ads

Apple today introduced two new iPad Air 2 ads. The two clips began airing today during NFL broadcasts, and are both variations of a one minute video Apple posted on its website this weekend as part of its new 'Change' iPad campaign.

The new commercials differ from the previous 'Your Verse' spots, which each told stories of how various people used their iPads. Instead, the 'Change' ads each demonstrate how a variety of people use their tablets in unconventional ways.

Apple tonight posted a new commercial to its YouTube channel showcasing the recently-launched iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The ad is entitled ‘Voice Text’ and it highlights the new voice messaging feature found on iOS 8 and of course the new iPhones.

Coming just a few days after the last two spots, the ad once again stars Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake. In similar fashion to recent ads, the pair provide comedic voiceovers as they demonstrate the benefits of voice messaging.

The spots are entitled ‘Gamers’ and 'Reservations,' and the first demonstrates the gaming power of the new A8 processor, while the latter shows off the new Continuity feature in iOS 8.

Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and recording artist Justin Timberlake return for both adverts, which are shot in a similar fashion to recent iPhone 6 ads. The camera zooms in on a pair of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus handsets, and the duo provide comedic voiceovers as they demonstrate various phone and iOS features.
