Hi!! I am new to the iPhone- my friend gave me her old one and I am trying to jailbreak it but I am confused, can you please help. I am trying to jailbreak and unlock an ihone 3GS version 4.0.2 (8A400).
Also, is there anyway to delete all of her old apps/contacts/pics etc??

i recently jailbroke my 3gs. Im running 4.0.1 OS and jailbroke with jailbreakme.com

since the jailbreak I cannot send or recieve text messages

is anybody else having this problem
Does anybody know a way i can fix this

Okay so this may be a stupid question, but I have an iphone 3G with software version 3.1.2, I had AT&T but canceled my service so I no longer have an at&t sim that works. I want to use my iphone with my TMobile sim but every tutorial for jailbreaking or unlocking looks like it needs an active internet connection on the iphone which I do not have. Any info would be helpful thanks

I’ve just run Jailbreakme on my iPhone 4, the cydia icon never appeared so I switched it off/on and now won’t boot up. It’s just stuck on the Apple icon, please HELP!!!

Have a 3g iphone. Downloaded the 4.0 software to it. Now its slow and sometimes just freezes up. I want to jailbreak it. You want to know a lot of info about the phone first. Should I say its a 3g still? I’m not realy up on all this stuff but I know I want to do it. Thanks for your time!

Help! Locked Iphone 3.1.3 ?
It’s an old 2G, and i had it unlocked so i could use it on orange. [originally O2]
well i just pressed the update.. and the emergency screen is on my iphone ‘insert a valid SIM with no PIN lock to activate the phone’
i don’t have an o2 sim.
and i’ve tried putting it in DFU mode, but the phone goes off itunes completely so a message isn’t displayed on the computer.. so i can’t jailbreak it.
what should i do ? please help :[

hi this is nishant. i bought a new iphone 3gs ios 4.0.1 with orange carrier. i am in india and i want to jailbreak it. previously when i bought it every icons can be seen but now when i restored it from ios 4.0 to 4.0.1 i can see iTunes icon with usb and there is a message displayed to insert a valid sim with no pin lock to activate iphone. can u plese help me how to proceed further and jailbreak and unlock it.
