How to watch the MLB postseason on your iPhone, iPad and Apple TV

The MLB postseason begins tomorrow, Oct. 2. Here’s how to watch all of the games on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.

The 2018 playoffs air on FS1, Fox, and TBS in the United States. The World Series, which begins on Tuesday, Oct. 23, airs exclusively on Fox.

To watch the playoffs on your Apple devices, you’ll need a cable or satellite subscription that includes authentication for the Fox Sports Go and Watch TBS apps. Both are available on iOS and Apple TV.

If you’re a cord-cutter, consider an internet TV service such as Sling TV, PlayStation Vue, Hulu, DirecTV Now, and YouTube TV. The $25-per-month Sling TV Blue package is the least expensive and includes Fox and TBS programming.

If your favorite team is in the playoffs, you might also want to consider MLB.tv. For $24.99 plus authentication, you’ll receive access to every playoff game, live and on-demand, plus game archives. You’ll also have free access to 2019 Spring training games.
