Apple seeds first betas of iOS 12.1, watchOS 5.1 and tvOS 12.1

One day after releasing the first public version of iOS 12, Apple is allowing developers to begin testing the next version. On Tuesday, the company introduced the first iOS 12.1 beta next to watchOS 5.1 beta and tvOS 12.1 beta. 

The build numbers for these updates are:

  • iOS 12.1, 16B5059d
  • watchOS 5.1,16R5559d
  • tvOS 12.1, 16J5575c

Registered developers can download these updates now.

Updated features:

  • In iOS 12.1, Apple has once again added the FaceTime Group feature that was originally announced in June but was removed before iOS 12 launched. At the time the feature was pulled from an iOS 12 beta, Apple said it needed more time to create it.
