Get ready, Pokémon Quest arrives on iOS and Android

Pokemon Quest

There’s a new Pokémon game ready for your attention. Pokémon Quest is launching today, June 27, around the world on iOS and Android devices. The game launched first on the Nintendo Switch late last month.

The free-to-play Pokémon Quest game is set in Tumblecube Island where everything is cube-shaped. Inside, you must battle wild Pokémon, look for treasures, and of course, explore new areas.

Take a look:

Of the initial Nintendo Switch release, Shigeru Ohmori, director at developer GAME FREAK, said:

Players will be able to personalize their Pokemon and develop a strong bond with their Pokemon friends while battling their way through the adventure.

With the simple touch-screen controls, Pokemon Quest is a game that Pokemon fans of all ages can pick up and play.

In the App Store, Pokémon Company calls Pokémon Quest “a rambunctious expedition RPG featuring cube-shaped Pokémon!” It explains:

The Pokémon you know and love have turned into…cubes?! Head out in search of treasure with your cube-shaped Pokémon buddies on Tumblecube Island—a land where everything is a cube! Your goal is to find the awesome goodies said to be hidden on the island ! The Pokémon you know and love from Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue appear in this game.

Earlier this week, Frozen Penguin introduced a new jailbreak tweak for Pokémon fans called PokeCall. The tweak makes your iPhone’s incoming call interface look more like a battle screen from classic Pokémon games.

Also this month, the original Pokémon game for iOS, Pokémon Go, added new trading and friends features.

If you’re a Pokémon fan, you’ll undoubtedly want to check out Pokémon Quest. You can download the universal game on the App Store.
