CoolStar releases Electra 1.0.4 with minor changes

On Thursday, CoolStar released version 1.0.4 of the Electra jailbreak tool for iOS 11.0-11.1.2 with minor tweaks that should help the jailbreak run more efficiently.

Citing the change log from the official Electra website, version 1.0.4 encompasses the following changes:

  • Remove all XPC code that could possibly have been problematic ever since beta 11
  • Replace TCP, UDP, and XPC with MIG (thanks Psychotea from the Meridian team)
  • Recommended to also update Tweak Injector to 1.0.4 from our repository to get safe mode in system daemons as well

Anyone already using the Electra jailbreak is advised to download and run the latest version to ensure that their jailbreak performs at peak efficiency. For security reasons, you should only download the tool from the official Electra website and nowhere else.
