Apple to report Q1 2018 earnings on February 1

Apple on Tuesday announced that it will be sharing its earnings for its first fiscal quarter of 2018 on the first of February. The company has scheduled a conference call with analysts and investors to share the results on Thursday, February 1 at 2pm PT (5pm ET).

This earnings report will be interesting for a few reasons. For one, it covers the all-important holiday quarter—the 3 month period from October to December in which Apple typically breaks sales records. It’s also going to give us our first look at iPhone X sales.

Apple will be live-streaming the earnings call on its website and, as usual, we will be covering the call and subsequent announcements. The company also notes that it will be hosting its annual shareholders meeting at its own Steve Jobs Theater on February 13.
