The 1-day shopping event invites fans to buy select iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch models for a free Apple Store gift card worth up to A$210 or NZ$210 (about $160 in US dollars).

Mac mini and refurbished Macs do not qualify.

    Have US stores ever done this? I just bought a MacBook Pro last week, would I have to return and buy again to get the gift card or would they be flexible? Any input is appreciated.

      You will have to return it. They are not flexible here-at least in AZ.
