Lighting company Lifx today launched two new HomeKit-focused products. The Lifx Z Starter Kit that includes two 3.3 foot lighting strips and a power pack, as well as a new HomeKit controller to retrofit their existing light strips.
The new Lifx Z Starter Kit is pretty much on par with the previously released light strips, with the addition of HomeKit support. It is available for $89.99 and is shipping right away. The strip is capable of producing 16 million colors at up to 1400 lumens per two meters.
The more affordable $39.99 controller is an easy way for existing customers to add HomeKit support to the Lifx light strips they already own.
This is on the heels of previously HomeKit announcements from Lifx like the new HomeKit equipped LED tiles.
