Installing macOS High Sierra

To install macOS High Sierra on computers running an older macOS release, use Apple’s standard Software Update mechanism—just choose App Store from the Apple menu, then click the Updates tab to grab the software.

If you plan on upgrading multiple Macs, it may be a good idea to create a USB installer.

With the USB installer, the operating system can be deployed on multiple Macs without having to redownload the software update separately on every Mac you own. You can also boot from the USB installer by holding the Option (⌥) key whilst starting up your Mac.

This MacOS version looks like the iPhone 8: just a revision of an older product.

Like Snow Leopard and Mountain Lion, High Sierra is mostly a performance upgrade (and comes with a slight name upgrade). They were never trying to hide this.

It is much more behind each new OS, and they did mention it in the conference, the people who don’t understand, they will just say I don’t care, they look the same as iPhone these days.

So glad that you are not the Apple programmer or designer.

According to your statement, they have to look different so they are doing something new, which mean people will have to learn 2 different way to use them.

I am no sure how to make a calculator or calendar so different each version… I really have no clue what I am asking now…

It doesn’t matter how they look, we are the one who use it.
