Apple on Thursday updated its App of the Week promotion with the game illi. For the next 7 days you can pick up this popular puzzle-platformer for free on both iPhone and iPad, a solid savings of $3.

From the App Store Editors’ Notes:

We’re not sure exactly what kind of creature illi is-“adorable, furry slug-thing” seems pretty close-but we definitely love hanging out in her gorgeous, gravity-bending worlds. This luscious puzzle-platformer gently ramps up the variety of gravity-based challenges our squishy heroine must overcome. Illi makes us rethink the meaning of up and down and delights us every time we guide our bouncy blob to her glowing goal.

And here’s a clip of the game in action:

Illi is available in the App Store for free.

Anyone know how to download the free app from the Apple Store app on iOS 11? it’s not generating a download code when I click on the app to download.

    • There is no alternative right now, it’s pretty buggy. The only way is to actually search for the app and download it directly.

I tried that but it is still showing up as $1.99 in the app store.

      • Try to update to the newest public beta 2, it solved it for me. Or as an alternative just use Mac/PC to download it. I’ve tried it on my Mac and it shows it as ‘Get’.

Yeah I’m running beta 2. I have tried looking up the app in iTunes on my work computer and just normally in the app store and both still show infltr as costing $1.99 yet it’s the free app from the Apple Store app.
