Apple and Nike recently announced Apple Watch NikeLab, basically a co-branded limited-xdition Apple Watch Series 2 using a Space Gray aluminum case paired with a new Light Bone band in a creamy color combination featuring black perforations. The device is arriving Thursday, April 27, and now Highsnobiety has posted some pretty gorgeous hands-on photos ahead of tomorrow’s release.

Closeups reveal the NikeLab Innovation x Innovators logo on the inside of the strap.

The Light Bone/Black Nike Sport Band combo is meant to coordinate with the similarly neutral-toned “Oreo” and “White/Blue” VaporMax sneakers releasing this week.

Aside from its strap in the previously unavailable Light Bone color combination, plus some Nike branding and exclusive Nike complications, watch faces and Siri commands, this is your ordinary Apple Watch Series 2 hardware with built-in GPS, S2 processor and more.

The new models come in 38mm and 42mm widths, respectively priced at $369 and $399.

The limited-edition Apple Watch NikeLab will be available on, at NikeLab doors and at an Apple Tokyo popup store in Isetan beginning tomorrow, April 27, 2017.

I’m seriously thinking about buying one just for the band and selling my current technologically identical Nike plus Apple Watch. I freaking love that band so much.

Lol. Hey man you work for your money (I’m assuming), so live it up. I will be purchasing the band if it’s available.

      • nova12

lol I’m like the perfect mark. no self control.

also, just in case I do that because I’m a slave to early adoption and impulse buying, do you know what time they go on sale at Nike online? Midnight tonight? and what time zone?

    I’m so ashamed but whatever.

Can you just buy the band?

      • triggerhappypunk

Don’t be ashamed. I may just buy it and keep my current series 2 to wear while I’m sleeping and track sleep habits.

  • The band looks nice. Wish they’d just sell that on its own.

My other comment was deleted for some reason (link to an Amazon search maybe why) Anyway just search Apple watch straps on Amazon and you’ll see plenty of identical bands.

I have the original Nike band and a copy from Amazon in an awesome red and they are identical. Same material, same thickness, same feel, and only cost £10 to £14. You’ll be able to get this colour scheme very soon.

    • Your original comment is still there.

Still not available at nike’s US site? I got a hit for the U.K. site, but can only see it cached — clicking tells me it’s no longer available.

On the U.K. site it was around $510 USD ouch.
