        The AirPods shut themselves off when not in your ears, requiring no effort on your part. 3 hours of total playtime compared to 5 hours of *continuous* playback of the AirPods (continuous meaning they don’t drain nearly as quick when nothing’s playing) is very disappointing.

    I use a single-ear headpiece (kind of like a headset but small and shaped like this one) for cycling. Only cost me a tenner and it works really well.

    I’ve looked into the wireless earbud market and nothing comes even close to the AirPods. Best battery life, best case, best connection and easy pairing if you have apple devices, and competitively priced vs other $200-$300+ options that don’t have as compelling features. If you need a budget pair of wireless earbuds badly then I guess this is a good option.
