RoundedSwitchr Before and After

RoundedSwitchr is a new free jailbreak tweak that lets you add rounded corners to the multitasking cards in your iPhone or iPad’s App Switcher.

The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings app where you can control the corner roundness radius. The default is 10.0, but our screenshot above is pretty close to the 30.0 mark. You can set this radius amount as low as 0.0 or as high as 100.0.

You’re also going to find that you can enable or disable the tweak on demand and you can even configure the Home screen card in the App Switcher so that when you swipe up on it, it invokes a respring.

Once you’ve set up the tweak how you want it, you can use the blue Apply Changes button at the bottom of the preferences pane. This saves the changes by respringing your device.

The rounded corner look isn’t for everyone, so I can’t say everyone should go out and download this tweak today. However, if you enjoy the look of rounded corners in your App Switcher, then you can download RoundedSwitchr for free on your jailbroken device from Cydia’s BigBoss repository.

Only iOS 9 devices are officially supported.

        I thought iOS 99

  • leart
  • I love this, but it doesn’t work with Lylac, the Seng/Auxo replacement for iOS 9.

    • Jayy

I personally use Seng on iOS 9. Auxo used to be good until they changed it!

      • I despise “oxo”- I can’t run Seng on iOS 9.3.2 it only works on 9.0.2 for me. Maybe I’ll try it again but I’m pretty sure it didn’t work when I installed it right after I jailbroke

      • Jayy

Ah okay, that explains a lot. I’m on 9.0.2

      • Yah, I’m able to run Lylac on 9.0.2 on my iPad Mini, but Seng works well on that iOS, so I use that there. It “works” on 9.3.2, but the springboard becomes invisible and pulling up on the home card causes a respring. It needs a little fixing for 9.1 and above maybe. ;(

      • OK I reinstalled Seng. It has two issues, it blanks out your springboard when you try to return to the springboard, and you can’t choose between iOS 8 and iOS 9 style switchers. This tweak only works when you use the iOS 9-style switchers, which was why I wanted to use the alternate iOS 8 style I didn’t like the iOS 9 style So that’s why it wasn’t working I had been using the iOS 8 style in Lylac. So I reinstalled lylac, switched it to the iOS 9 switcher, and then I modifed the size and placement of the cards a little bit so now it’s easier to handle and it looks good, now the tweak works great so my bad, I hadn’t thought of switching to the iOS 9 switcher.

  • This week is actually rather cool I disabled Lylac so I could view the rounded corners, it’s nice. But if there was someway for this tweak to work with Lylac that would be really cool thanks
