Apple is releasing minor OS updates to its install base today, starting with a bug-fix focused watchOS 2.2.2 update for the Apple Watch and continuing with iOS 9.3.3, which appears to include a bunch of bug fixes and unspecified performance improvements. The update can be applied on your device over-the-air in Settings β†’ General β†’ Software Update or downloaded through desktop iTunes.

The update is available for the iPhone 4s and later, the fifth-generation iPod touch and later and iPad 2 and later and includes fixes for Calendar, FaceTime, Safari, Siri Contacts, Web Media, WebKit, the iOS kernel and other parts of the system.

For more detailed information about these fixes, see Apple’s support document.

I’m on developer beta 5… don’t know what to do, probably there’s no change to the final one..

    • Nilesh

      Is it stable,

      • leart

I think that beta 5 is the same like the final release they have the same build number: 13G34

      • Nirvana

        it’s beta 5

      • leart

i updated the same just in case there’s some hidden fix πŸ™‚

      • Nirvana

nah, even from beta 1 9.3.3 doesn’t shed any light on what fix will come in terms of both performance and security.

iPhone 6s Plus that I’m using obviously is running smooth and stunning fast but those anoying small interface bugs are still present … https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/ca648dc5a2d8dfcd0045f0ea5613196ab6330de92b1bf0d2b333c41bb4908a24.jpg

apple probably doesn’t care about visual bugs anymore, only performance and security tweaks aiming at A5-based devices, which will no longer be supported by ios 10. i think u can still send feedback to apple. Good luck

Does it fix the choppy-from-time-to-time animations on 6s+? Thanks in advance

    • leart

I don’t think so, the build numer is the same if beta 5: 13G34 and I’m currently on that firmware and I’m facing sometime strange interface lag.. other than that everything is perfect..

      • KinkyNothing

Well so far so good, consider updating πŸ™‚

    • Diego Milano

I’ve heard this is fixed in iOS 10.

      • KinkyNothing

iOS 10 wasn’t nice to me so far. 9.3.3 seems fine and more snappy than .2. It is worth updating to if of course you aren’t expecting a jailbreak

      • Diego Milano

Interesting to read, especially now that an iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak has been released, even though most tweaks won’t work, surely.
