T-Mobile Summer 2016 unleashed teaser 001

Deutsche Telekom-owned carrier T-Mobile USA on Thursday announced a new promotion which gives postpaid customers free unlimited 4G LTE data across all of Europe, except Andora, between July 1 and August 31, 2016. Only postpaid customers who reside in the United States and primary use T-Mobile’s US network are eligible for this promotion. In addition to free data, texting is free and calls are just 20 cents a minute throughout Europe and a host of other destinations.

Those traveling this weekend, including Verizon and AT&T customers, will be also treated to a full, free hour of Wi-Fi on all Gogo-equipped domestic flights, said the carrier.

On top of that, T-Mobile said that its Simple Choice customers can now roam in Belize starting July 1 with unlimited data and texting and low, flat-rate calling.

More than 2.5 million Americans are expected to go on vacation this summer in Europe.

That’s for T-Mobile US, not European T-Mobile. Also, starting next year there’ll be no more roaming charges for EU customers within Europe, Internet data included.

Hopefully the UK will remain in the EU 🙂

Ahhh, I love you, T-Mo! This would’ve been wonderful to have in Iceland last month (so. many. pictures.), but great for Austria next month too. 🙂
