A mere two hours have passed since Apple launched a second-generation twelve-inch MacBook and already the new machines have received their very first software update—and this despite the fact that the new lineup won’t be available before tomorrow.

The “Bluetooth Update for MacBook” is now available for the new 12″ MacBook models.

The software update “improves compatibility with third party bluetooth devices, and is recommended for all users,” says Apple.

OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 is required to apply this update, a 157.8-megabyte download.

What about other Macs? My bluetooth headset gets such a choppy signal from Mac and it seems others are experiencing this too.
