I don’t know about you, but I’ve adopted a habit of diligently going through the comments other people publish on my social media posts. I do it on a regular basis because there’s nothing I hate more than seeing NSFW language or insults by other people on my posts.

Vine, a short-form video sharing service owned by Twitter, is especially notorious for attracting all sorts of commenters, many of whom just spew hate.

But worry not, ladies and gents, this quick tutorial will show you how easy it actually is to remove any offending comments from your post.

Although you can’t delete comments by other people on other people’s videos, Vine’s mobile app lets you easily remove unwanted comments on your own posts.

How to delete comments on Vine

Step 1: Launch Vine on your iPhone.

Step 2: Find a comment on one of your videos that you would like to delete for good.

Step 3: Tap on the talk bubble icon below a video to see its comments.

Step 4: Swipe on the offending comment from right to left.

Step 5: Now tap the red X button. The comment is deleted immediately.

If someone is consistently spamming you in Vine comments, you should consider blocking them and reporting abusive behavior on the service.

      You ask this question… Now?!

      • Delis Encarnacion

Haven’t been on here in a while. Relax my dude.

Well you haven’t been missing out on anything. This place is dead. D E D. Dead.

      • Delis Encarnacion

Lol I can see. This place used to be so different back then

Useless comment that does not move the conversation forward. If you did not find the article useful or beneficial, you can just move on to the next one.

iDb can’t just post articles that appease to JUST you, they post to a vast community of varying interests.

It’s funny how you don’t realize that your comment was just as useless.

I disagree, think of mine as a community service of educating disrespectful members such as yourself.

Guess it’s hopeless for some people.

      • Delis Encarnacion

Of course you disagree since your comment is against mine. But see the thing is, you call it a “community service” but no one care about what you have to say. No one cares about what I have to say. No ones backing you on your comment. So why waste your time? The thing I highly dislike about people like you, is that you’re one sided on freedom of speech. Meaning that if my comment doesn’t appeal to the popular opinion it’s immediately disliked. If my comment is against the post so what? I have as much right to express myself and so do you. So just keep it moving fam, you ain’t saving no ones world out here.
