500MB will be used in one day, then pay the penalty for every MB over. When will the day come when data won’t be used by all the carriers to bleed you? Unlimited data or bust

    • (JailbreakQA) King Shoot

Exactly. 500MB is spend easily just by streaming youtube, or checking out social media. I’d rather have unlimited data and texting than unlimited calls and texting.

    • 9to5Slavery

would be good for people that is busy all day not on their phone at work that only needs to communicate

      • the hood

Sure, however 500MB equates to only 16MB per day. You don’t buy a Ferrari and stay on the speed limit constantly, this phone will chew 16MB just updating the time. 🙂

      • Mike M. Powell

        Perfect analogy lol xD

      • 9to5Slavery

There are some people that do work in the office and use company wifi that works very good as well. This can also be a good deal for those working in that environment.

      • the hood

As long as they live in their office, have no kids, no social life, no sporting interests, no hobbies, no love interest and basically no life then yes it’s a f***ing shit hot deal. Are you a happy chappy now.

      • 9to5Slavery

Do you even know what life experiences are bro? lol you seem so narrow minded.

      • the hood

If you had life experience you’d know these ‘offers’ are never in the best interest for the customers, bro! Referring to me as narrow minded only highlights your own ignorance.

      • 9to5Slavery

They don’t have to live in their office and have no kids or no social like or no sporting interest, that is as long as its under your assumption. Why must you think so lowly of everyone else? Sure there may be some, but majority in bigger cities actually have wifi everywhere even at work. These offers which described above is excellent. 1 year of talk and text would add up above $100. For someone who talk and text, this would target a group that doesn’t need the internet as much or in the example to the baby-boomer generation. For you, you think it NEVER offers the best interest. I guess with your own highlights in any life experience invalidates what you will say next. You don’t seem to be so credible as you are still narrow minded. I do encourage you to be more open minded rather than making adolescent behavior like comments.

You really paid no attention to what I wrote or even understand. Put simply, this is a poor deal for 99.9%. I was being sarcastic when I indicated that this would ONLY benefit those that I described (which make up for the .1%). That’s the problem and the trap with it. Try to look at it with a differing perspective. You own a phone company and you need/want to boost your income for shareholders etc. You need a marketing ploy that appeals to a (wide audience) not just baby boomers. After all iphones are not just targeted to baby boomers and you need a nice lure. But once ensnared you need to suck more money out of your prey (I mean customer), as the monthly advertised amount was only a hook to get them in. As the owner of a phone company how do you generate that extra income?
This is a business model and has been used extensively in other forms and shucks here in little Australia. Where we down under dumb inexperienced folks with no life experience are just used to bending over and copping the rough end of a pineapple gee wizz.
Remind me not to have you select my phone plans. Wake up and grow up.

didn’t read it. I hope you took your time to click on this and read that i didn’t read it. i see too much whining and btching.

      • the hood

you read it and you know i’m right. i won’t call you my biatch that’s mot my style

      • 9to5Slavery

        no i didn’t lol. hahahahahha

      • the hood

Yes you did, for if you didn’t then you ‘ve shown what an idiot you really are by making blind comments. Like I said before grow up.

      • 9to5Slavery

Do you understand what tl;dr means? Do I have to re-clarify myself? The next thing I am assuming is you don’t know what rhetorical questions are. Don’t even bother.

      • the hood

Do you understand what being my biatch means!

      • Fabio Rodrigues

if you have money to buy a ferrari you would’t bother to buy a refurbished iphone and would buy and unlimited everything plan

      • the hood

Pretty much what I’m on now. Unlimited everything for $2/day, except no Ferrari in the garage.

      • 9to5Slavery

He is still looking for that red hot deal. He is now realizing he shouldn’t have complained on a deal that fits another group of market. He wasn’t ready.

    • Morgan Freeman

Sprint still offers truly unlimited data, just so you know. That is of course if they service your area.

      • the hood

MF I have a 3G (decent enough speed) prepaid deal for $2/day which includes unlimited calls, texts and data, but I supply the phone. If I make no calls etc for the day then no charge. Needless to say the offer was for a limited time but they crop up every now and then. I live in Australia and some of our postpaid plans are the work of the devil to put it bluntly. This is why I cringe at these types of deals because I know they are a trap for most good folk.

    • Fabio Rodrigues

since they might be a prepaid, most of the prepaid companies now offer some ammount of “fast” internet and after you reach that ammount your data speed will be reduced, in the case of this company you will have 500MB of LTE and after that you will have 2G speeds until the end of your month’s cicle

      • the hood

That’s even more disgusting by getting you to your cap with the fastest possible speed then putting the brakes on allowing you to crawl. What sort of person comes up with these trash plans Fabio; do they get bonuses for being a55hole of the month towards customers?

      • Fabio Rodrigues

man, what do you expect for about $25 or $30 dollars monthly with no contracts or cancellation fees and not even needing to check your credit or id???

the most basic thing is that call and text is unlimited, but data is different you have a pletora of services that are data hungry, you can’t expect to use all the data you want paying so little for your phone service (I am talking about the some plans in the US)

  • Gabriel Anaya

    16 gigs = No way.

    • the hood

      MB not GB

      • Morgan Freeman

He was referring to the phone. 16GB iPhone 6.

      • the hood

        Apologies my mistake Gabriel.

  • Bugs Bunnay

I like freedompop. You actually get 1 gig of data after doing the friend invite. Not using this for primary though. Been a custy with multiple accounts since 2010!
