In addition to the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, Apple on Wednesday announced new accessories for its next-generation handsets. The products didn’t get much stage time, but listed on Apple’s website are a new Lightning dock, leather and silicon cases, in new colorways.
The new dock is very similar to the one Apple announced in May, except now it’s available in iPhone-matching colors Gold, Rose Gold, Space Gray and Silver. It’s compatible with all late-model iPhones and iPod touches, and will be available for online order today for $49.
As for the cases, Apple will continue to offer silicon and leather options for both sizes of the iPhone, but with some new color choices. The new silicone case comes in white, charcoal gray, stone, antique white, blue, turquoise, midnight blue, lavender, pink, orange and red. And the new leather colors will include midnight blue, saddle brown and rose gray.
The new cases start are also available for online order today (with 1-3 business day shipping times), starting at $35 for the iPhone 6s silicon version. The 6s Plus model is just a hair more expensive at $39, and the leather cases for both handsets will run you $45 and $49 respectively.
