Zigrino Apple Store Puerta del Sol White

We review tons of apps here on iDB, covering the vast majority of categories available in the App Store. But are these apps interesting to you? For instance, I don’t care much about gaming, and I’m much more interested in learning about new productivity apps. You, on the other hand, might have no interest in productivity apps but would like to see more News-related apps covered on iDB.

To make sure we publish reviews you actually care about, we thought that asking you directly what you want to see on iDB would be the best way to go at it, which is why we have created this simple poll.

We have listed the main App Store categories below, and all we need from you is to choose the 3 you’re most interested in. The results will help us adjust our coverage of apps on iDB and give you more of what you’re most into.

Because a poll offers limited options, please feel free to share your feedback in the comments section below. Tell us what you like, what you don’t like, and how we can improve our overall coverage of apps.

Thank you for your help!

I seriously fall in love with a wide variety of apps you guys post on here. However maybe there are too many “crappy” games posted but ios gaming is not my forte and i bet a lot of people enjoy them.

More Tweaks , Less Apps 😉

    • Sloe

Can’t really be more tweaks. Cydia kinda trash these days. Post iOS 6 jailbreak kinda dead. iOS 6 was like the end of an era for stock and jailbreak, really not been the same since

  • Yup

You need to streamline the game reviews and stop reviewing trash and review more intense story games along the lines of Republique, Anything by TellTale, Lost Echo etc and ignore all the other trash because really they dont matter

    • While I (and I’m sure many other readers) agree with this I don’t think this will happen. No disrespect to iDB but it doesn’t seem like the staff at iDB game much on their iOS devices, there’s nothing wrong with this since gaming isn’t everyone’s thing but if iDB is to offer real, in-depth reviews on games I don’t think it’ll happen or at least don’t think it’ll work out too well unless iDB employs a new writer for this purpose. There’s many specialised websites that focus on iOS gaming anyway for example TouchArcade…

      • Dream

So….. Anyone got any spare immortality lying around… could really do with some….

      • Jonathan

Let me see if I can find it from the same post I got the other one, about 7 posts back. oo.. here we go!

Found this in my closet. Forgot I had this laying there. I can’t read numbers anyways, so idk the value of this, but I’ll give it to you. What’s your address?

  • I don’t care what you write about. Write about everything if you can

  • John

Travel….as I fly a lot on holidays so always keen to know what Apps are useful.
Health and Fitness… Absolutely into HealthKit Apps, especially since the Australian App Store promotes so few of these Apps (compared to the American store)

  • disqus_1OOxuTfGXJ

I’d like to see a iDB app..

  • Victor Molina

Like to see baby apps that my 2 year old could use

  • diggitydang

Apps that can make my life/daily tasks easier are my favourites… That might fall in a few categories though – Productivity, Utilities, Photos…

I’m not much of a gamer, but judging from the results, many iDB’ers are, so go ahead and review those too – I’ll probably just gloss over those.

  • burlow

i am more interested in reading about the apps that excel in any category. I wouldn’t have downloaded monument valley if I hadn’t seen it posted here. I use iDB as filter of sorts to help me find new great apps.

Games/finance/travel/photo/productivity I don’t really care. If it’s an amazing app, chances are I’ll like it and use it.

  • Sleetui

Music apps. Good quality apps that are for Audiophiles. Also DLNA Streaming apps that support video and audio.

  • Jailbrkr21

As a big fan of the iDB and from the uk I find that its geared towards the US readers more and I understand why and I know it does cover some UK news but more would be nice. I am interested in Health & Fitness, useful utilities, productivity & finance. IDB is a great site and I shall keep reading, its nice that its not always about jailbreak apps because I have a jailbroken iPhone 5s and a stock 6 plus (due to not being able to play sky go and banking apps on JB iPhone), I also have a JB iPad mini and stock iPad air and I find the site covers all of my needs.

Keep up the good work, I click the links on the site in the hope it offers some commission to Seb and the team to keep the site running.

  • Don’t mean to be crying here but if a game should be reviewed here it should be a AWESOME game, in class with Monument Valley, VainGlory, Clash of clans. Games made with love.

  • Naman Jain

why doesn’t iDB have it’s own app ?

  • iPhoneWINS

you are doing just fine as is

  • Out5poken

Personally I come here exclusively for the JB tweaks and news, I find iDB the most reliable for that type of content.

I game a lot on my iDevices but would rather go to TouchArcade for reviews, but it also doesn’t annoy me to see the odd game post on here.
It’s tricky for me to choose to an option as when it comes to apps I don’t restrict myself – I’m always keen to learn about any app that provides proper value, entertainment and productivity.

  • DRYN84

There used to be an awesome app called iDiscrete JB we need a replacement since the developer stopped working on it back in iOS5 i think. Anyone know about an app with the same features.
