Mail OS X Yosemite

Apple has seeded the third beta of OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 this morning. The update, labeled build 14C81f, is available through the Update tab in the Mac App Store and the Dev Center for all registered Mac developers.

Today’s release comes just over a week after the second 10.10.2 beta, and Apple has once again asked developers to focus their testing on Wi-Fi connectivity—a long-standing Yosemite issue—as well as Mail and VoiceOver.

Given that this is a minor update, we don’t expect to see anything outside of bug fixes. But we’re installing the beta now, and will pass along anything of note. If you find something, e-mail us at tips@idownloadblog.com

Wi-Fi issues on Yosemite and iOS need to be fixed ASAP, it is so frustrating.

  • Cody Schroder

Please for the sake of all that is good, fix these VPN issues!! I feel like I’m in the stone-ages with a cup and string.

  • Mina Tharwat

    Safari is now 8.0.3

  • Piyush

Does it fix the Filevault problem?

  • Ivan Diardo 

I just wish they’d release this to the users who signed up for the public beta. ._.

    • Carlos Gomes

Why? It’s all messed up. Even trivial stuff as changing your wallpaper is broken.

      • Chris

Sounds like you have a bad install, I’ve been running Yosemite since it was first released and haven’t had any issues with it.

    • Chris

Apple do say in the FAQs that developer releases aren’t guaranteed for the public beta program.

      • Ivan Diardo 

Yeah but it would be cool if they did.

      • Truc

Hey Ivan, it is possible for public beta users to get it too, just google a small terminal script to bypass some gates then you can get the update.
I am sure it works 100% because it works for me too 🙂

      • Ivan Diardo 

Could you show me one? 😉 Thanks!

Np! Let me know if it works 😉

      • Ivan Diardo 

Sure. Could you help me out a little more? What exactly should I type in terminal? Just copy paste that huge thing or write something before that? Help me out. 🙂 Thanks.

      • Truc

Just copy the command lines and paste them to termnal, enter. done!
Then check refresh your App Store, you will see the 10.10.2 update appears.

      • Ivan Diardo 

That very very long thing? Just that?

      • Ivan Diardo 

Hey mate. It asks for a password. What should I type?

      • Truc

It’s sudo command so just type in the admin password, the password you use to login the computer

      • Ivan Diardo 

Oh I just googled it. Didn’t work cause I used a blank pass. Lemme try now.

      • Ivan Diardo 

Okay, so I got the update. 😀 Thanks mate. Though, will I be able to use my Mac after installing? I’m not a developer, so maybe I cant access my Mac after installing 10.10.2?

      • Truc

Haha lol, I can so can you
        No worries, it’s 100% safe.
Let me know after the update 🙂

My MacBook Pro stopped charging days ago, I tried every single way to fix it but I couldn’t, some say it’s because of Yosemite.. Can anyone help me please ?

    • Clifford J Summers

Check the power adapter first. Could it be the OS? Possible but not very likely.

  • Lordrootman

  • Jamie Waters

Am I the only one unable to get the voice part of handoff working? My Mac never offers to take the call when my iPhone rings.

It worked on the first betas of both Yosemite and iOS 8 but since GM’s and subsequent betas it has not worked.
