One List is a simple list maker

One List 2

Around this time of the year, I’m all over the place with my many lists. I’ve got parties to plan, cookies to make, presents to buy, and all of that has to revolve around my normal busy schedule.

One List is a simple to-do list maker with very little extras so you don’t get distracted by too many options. Make a list, complete a task, and mark it off. Plus, you can see your top three to-do tasks right on your Lock screen with the Notification Center extension.

To create a task, pull down on the screen. The item maker will appear and you can name the task. Then, set a due date to remind you of when to finish it. You can also set a priority for the task of Low, Medium, High, or Urgent. The task will be given a designated color to help you easily see what needs to be taken care of right away.

The app comes with a few settings options to let you customize your list. Tap the top of the screen to access the menu. You can then activate or turn off notifications, daily reminders, and more. You can also choose from four different sets of sound effects, although only one comes with the app. The Bubbles set is a gift when you share One List on Facebook or Twitter. Bamboo and Future are both available for $0.99 each through an in-app purchase. You can try out the effects while you are in the app, but when you close it the sound pack reverts to the default.

There are also four different color themes to choose from, which all come with the app. Three of them feature bright hues ranging from reds, to blues, to greens. The “Nightfall” theme is a range of grays for those gothics that prefer the absence of color.

The Notification Center widget adds the top three tasks right to your Today view. Unfortunately, you can’t mark items off of the list from Notification Center, but when you tap an item, it will open the app directly.

My only complaint with this app is that you can’t create more than one list. At this time of the year, I’ve got shopping lists, gift lists, party attendee lists, and many more.

One List is available for free with advertisement support, which you can remove for $1.99. Download it in the App Store today.
