‘Apple Events’ channel now available on Apple TV

Apple TV owners will notice that the ‘Apple Events’ channel has returned to their main menu this morning with an invitation-matching icon. As with previous events, this channel will allow you to watch a live stream of today’s iPad keynote (here’s hoping it goes better than last time).

Apple will also be streaming the event to its website, where users running Safari on OS X or iOS will be able to tune in. For those that are unable to watch live, Apple typically uploads a video of its event to its YouTube channel within 24 hours or so, or you can just follow along with us.

We will be providing live coverage of this morning’s iPad event, and all subsequent announcements throughout the day. So if you can’t watch the live stream, or are just looking for extra commentary, you can keep up with all of the action here. Expect the site to be updated frequently.

The keynote is slated to begin at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Apple is expected to introduce a handful of new products during the event including new versions of both the iPad Air and iPad mini, the long-awaited Retina Display iMac, and much more.

Stay tuned.
