With the iPhone 6 expected to get one of its largest redesigns ever, designers have spent the last year creating concepts of what they believe the handset will look like. Some of them would probably be better suited for a science fiction novel, but others have looked fairly plausible.

This latest concept from well-known designer Martin Hajek may be one of the most realistic we’ve ever seen. Based on leaked parts, physical mockups and rumors from multiple tech outlets, Hajek has laid out his vision for the iPhone 6 right down to the circuits on the logic board…

This particular concept, first shared by Nowhereelse.fr, shows the 4.7-inch iPhone 6—one of 2 models expected to launch this fall. We have seen a few part leaks for the larger, 5.5-inch model, but they have been far less frequent, and many folks believe the device has been delayed.

The details in the images line up with everything we’ve heard and seen thus far—from the elongated volume buttons, to the relocated Power toggle. The only potential discrepancy I could find was the rear antenna breaks, which are far less prominent than those seen in part leaks.

In addition to a larger screen, the iPhone 6 is also expected to feature a higher resolution display and faster A8 processor. We’ve also heard that it could feature NFC technology, and several new sensors capable of measuring things like air pressure, temperature, humidity, and more.

As for the device’s battery, we’ve heard a few conflicting reports on its size and power. We’ve seen photos of an 1,810mAh battery allegedly belonging to the handset, but a more recent claim from ESM-China analyst Sung Chang Xu suggests that it will be of a larger 2,100mAh variety.

Yesterday, John Paczkowski of Re/code reported that Apple is planning to unveil the iPhone 6 at a media event on Tuesday, September 9th. Apple hasn’t made the date official yet, but given Paczkowski’s near-perfect track record, I’d say it’s time to start getting your credit cards ready.

What do you think of the above iPhone 6 concept? Would you buy one?

  • Harrison Smith

One thing will all the leaked iphone 6 are that they dont have dual tone flash like the 5s. Why would Apple leave a feature that was one of the major selling points of the 5s?

    • Dean Johnson

Maybe they found a way to make a smaller one. Or maybe it’s not even in the new iPhone. Maybe the parts are fake. We’ll see in september

    • sloanq

You have to take all “leaked” info with a grain of salt. None of this info is coming directly from apple.

    • InfinitePlusOne

Maybe this is the new iPhone.

      • Christian Mejía

        Seems legit.

      • Eric Taylor

      • Neil Sardesai

I’ll only buy it if it’s available in space grey.

      • Rowan09

Hey we now want big phones so it makes sense to go all the way back.

      • Ben Thorne

I can dig it. “I pity the fool!”

      • Steven Code

        IPhone 6 simple lol xD

    • Jonathan

A new technology that combines the flashes?

    • Xee

Maybe they have a new single flash LED that can produce broader tones of light, which would replace the dual LED.

    • Rowan09

The dual flash was for low light conditions so if they fix that issue they won’t necessarily need a dual flash. I like the look of the dual flash so I hope they keep it.

  • onesimpleclik

    Still an extremely boring design.

    • Maxim∑

      whats an “exciting” design??

      • Jonathan

        A plaid color?

      • Obviously a phone with some leds, neons, turbo, remus exhaust…and can jump very high when ringing…

  • R4

That person clearly hasn’t done their research. Didn’t you guys say something about not having to show those symbols at the back?

    • M_thoroughbred

Research to what? This is people renderings of what they think the iPhone will look like. For all we know the whole design is wrong. At this point you can only speculate and imagine what the iPhone would look like. We’ll find out soon enough. All I know is that with all this media attention and speculations people are starting to get their hopes up for a bigger screen iPhone. Just hope Apple will deliver or many people will be disappointed.

      • R4

I meant the logos below “iPhone” at the back of the phone…

      • 53kyle

Yeah, the FCC is allowing apple to not include those logos.

      • R4

        Thank you.

      • arvindb02

But it still has to be accesible within a certain number of actions. Simply unlocking the phone with a passcode consists of 6 “actions”

    • Concept – “an abstract idea”

This concept is exactly that. Nothing concrete just an artists interpretation of what the iPhone 6 might look like…

  • Christian Mejía

Well who would of known, it looks exactly like iPhone 5/s but just thinner and bigger…

    • Rowan09

There’s only so many ways to make a phone.

      • thomas

        tell that to samsung

      • That’s a lie

      • Rowan09

Square or rectangular with the sides either round or straight, about sums it’s up.

  • Jose Rivera

Okay… So I hope I’m not the only one, but doesn’t the very first picture at the top of the article remind anyone of the 1st gen iPhone’s body? The curves on the sides and stuff…

    • dd

      shut the f up rose

      • Jonathan

    • quitcherbichinn

I’m fine with that. IF this is what it will look like. I loved my 1st gen iPhone the most…she was sexy.

  • Merman123

I hate to sound like a fanboy , but I’m going to buy it no matter what it has , no matter what it looks like. That’s where I stand !

    • M_thoroughbred

I’m with you on that one lol

    • Same here. Why would I when I have an iPhone 5s? I’ll wait it out until the 6s like other 5s owners probably will…

      • RJ

Sounds like me.. But the exact opposite. I never buy the “S” versions. I’ll most likely get the iPhone 6 and skip the 6S

      • Christopher

I understand that from my point of view, the “S” versions names are awkward to pronounce in plural… iPhone 6″Asses”

      • hush

it really sounded better when the 4S came out … lol
And I think iPhone 6s would be huge success :)))))

      • Rowan09

I sell my older iPhones and purchase the new ones every time.

      • Dan

yeah I have the 5S, waiting for 6S or possibly the ‘phablet/bigger’ version in mid 2015

    • Dan Alexander

      Wooo yes!

  • Jonathan

Shut up and make this a reality, Apple.

  • Pez Tickles

Seriously people there are only so many possible ways to deign the look of a phone – if it was to be some bazar shape with An asymmetrical design, you’d just moan that it does look like a normal phone. if it looked like the 5S but thinner, Stronger, etc i’d be happy. as long as it fits in my pocket! don’t want some phablet…. remember that days when we all wanted tiny tiny phones ?!

  • Dan Alexander

    Fuckin sick

  • Tony

Still holding out that the 5.5 will be released at the same time. There’s no reason to split the two up.

  • 53kyle

I will be getting this on launch day. I usually pair the iPod touch with a crappy flip phone, since it saved money, but it has become impossible to text with that and I use the internet a lot more now, so iPhone it is 🙂

  • Hendo27

This design is AMAZING!!!!!! SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!

  • Truffol

Unfortunately the antenna break will be much thicker than this if the previous leaks are of any indication

  • thomas

the glass antennas make it look so outdated

  • WaterTrooper

Sad. This new “iPhone” looks more like an Android phone.

  • Ian Leon

wheres the true tone flash ?

  • Hendo27

Ive been seeing this concept around for months now. I have thought this was the best looking concept since the first time I saw it.

  • Thomas Gehman

    Looks good so far

  • GaugePrower

This one is great looking. The stupid fat ugly antenna lines from previous mockups have been corrected in this concept. This is much closer looking to something Apple would actually put out

  • GaugePrower

For those talking about the dual flash missing. Apple is probably just using a bi-color LED instead of two seperate LEDs. They have been around for years they have two positive poles and one neutral in the center. Each positive provides power to a seperate chip but its all encased in one “lens”. Think of something like the RGB leds that jumbotrons are made of but just bright white and warm white…

  • Alden Navon

I’d definitely buy this!! (being the image below) The thing I don’t like about the concepts;which at this point seem to be all the same, is the body is almost exactly copies the iPod Touch. It’s an iPhone; not an iPod Touch!!!!!! If I could design the perfect iPhone, the iPhone would have the front as in the picture below; and the back of the current iPhone 5/5S. Of course being thinner as well. Who else agrees with my point of view on what they would hope for the new iPhone?
